oh, i think i can explain about it. 1st we need 2 assumption:
1. Usually they are sitting at the left hand side of the classroom. -Naturally we will go into the row at left hand side.
2. As i know, the guy is traditional which mean father oriented in a family.
So, now IMAGINE they are walking together and they want to get into the seat and they walk to the left hand site of the class to the seat and since the guy is traditional so he will get into seat first then leave the girl behind and follow him. thats why the guy always sit at the right hand side and the girl always the left.
